Elections for the Assembly of Albania, 25 April 2021<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coalition for Reforms, Integration, and Consolidated Institutions<\/strong> (KRIIK Albania) organized on Saturday, April 24, 2021<\/strong>, at 12.30<\/strong>, a Press Conference in the framework of the Election Observation Action for the Albanian Parliament of April 25, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the Press Conference was to present the main findings of the Second Interim Monitoring Report.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press conference was held in hybrid format, partly with the physical presence of journalists (Hotel Rogner, Tirana, Vienna hall) and partly online (on the Zoom platform).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press conference was conducted in Albanian, with simultaneous English translation on the Zoom platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On KRIIK and the monitoring action <\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coalition for Reforms, Integration, and Consolidated Institutions (KRIIK Albania) has followed and continues to follow closely all institutional all institutional and political developments that affect directly or indirectly electoral matters.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, KRIIK is observing the electoral process through a body of long-term observers and will be present on election day and during the vote counting with short-term observers. The Monitoring Action of KRIIK is being implemented in cooperation with 33 domestic organizations throughout the country, active in the fields of democracy and human rights.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

KRIIK assesses the electoral process based on internationally recognized standards for democratic elections and the Albanian legal framework.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The press conference is organized in the frame of the Election Observation Action of KRIIK for the 2021 Parliamentary Elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Election Observation Action is financially supported by: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • the Government of the United Kingdom;<\/strong><\/li>
  • Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC);<\/strong><\/li>
  • the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany; and <\/strong> <\/li>
  • the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. <\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
